Sherborn Dollars for Scholars (SDFS)
is proud to celebrate 60 years 
of supporting Sherborn students. 
 

In 1965, a group of Sherborn residents founded Sherborn Dollars for Scholars to help support the scholars of Sherborn families in their pursuit of post-secondary education.

 

We have witnessed many changes over the last 60 years, most certainly including the increased costs of a college education. More than ever the scholarships awarded by the fund are vital to the hopes and aspirations of our young people. 

 

Funding for SDFS comes entirely from Sherborn residents. In addition to maintaining an endowment, Sherborn Dollars for Scholars raises funds each year through direct appeal campaigns to Sherborn residents. Scholarships are awarded annually based upon funds raised through the appeals and the income generated from the endowment. All money Sherborn Dollars for Scholars raises remains in our community to support our students.
